The Professional BlackBerry PlayBook just got a bit more professional today. RIM let us know that Citrix has released a beta of Citrix Receiver for the BlackBerry PlayBook. This means PlayBook users can now access virtual Citrix desktops and applications through the PlayBook. While I know many regular users are looking for a solid remote desktop app the Citrix Receiver app for the PlayBook offers enterprise users:
That means employees using Citrix can use the Receiver to do anything they would from their desktop. I kind of wish I had a Citrix setup of my own now… Until then you can check out the feature details on the official BlackBerry Business blog.
