Gist has updated their BlackBerry app yet again to v1.6.12 last week during DevCon. We didn’t get to mention it in all the craziness but it is worth upgrading if you use Gist. The new version brings a nice list of usability improvements to the app including:

The speedy App World update notification system let me know today that Gist has been updated to v1.5.48. When we first were tipped to the update we thought it was just an incremental bug fix but it turns out that these tiny version increments are big. The last one brought us BBM integration and this tiny update brings OS 7 device compatibility. According to the change log it also is now available in more countries.

RIM purchase Gist a bit back as a way to create a social address book for BlackBerrys. Quite a few people were excited about what this could mean but it keeps on getting better.
