While we knew that the BlackBerry PlayBook would launch in the UK tomorrow and continue rolling out internationally one of RIM’s UK vendors was a bit antsy. Engadget spotted a press release put out by Phones 4u announcing that they are stocking the BlackBerry PlayBook a day early in two of their stores. According to Phones 4u:
To celebrate the early availability Phones 4u Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street will be showcasing the BlackBerry PlayBook in the instore BlackBerry zones where visitors will get the chance to be one of the first to try out the new device and get a feel for the world’s first professional grade tablet.
So far the pricing for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet 16 GB Wi-Fi version is £399 or with a BlackBerry 9300 bundle on O2 £37 tariff. The 64 GB Wi-Fi model will be available online only and priced at £549.
