Besides for the Tablet OS version 1.0.5 update from today, RIM has announced a new version of the official Facebook application for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. Here’s a break-down of what’s new in this version:
This Facebook for PlayBook update will roll out through App World today and should be available for everyone within the next 24 hours. If you don’t have it yet try clearing your PlayBook’s App World cache or refreshing the app list. For more info you can check out RIM’s blog post on the update here. If you updated to Tablet OS v1.0.5 then you already have the new version of the Facebook app.
