Guarantee for BlackBerry developers. Any app created in HTML5 or any Native app for the PlayBook will work on future BBX devices. That means any developer that currently creates a HTML5, WebWorks, or Native SDK app will run on future BBX devices and current devices. They were not that clear about Adobe AIR/Flash though it does seem conspicuously missing.
RIM is not showing anything about a new phone but they are definitely hinting in that direction. It looks like the device is not going to be shown today but you never know with RIM.
