PlayBook OS 2.0 Browser Adds “Reader View” for Easy Reading

While the PlayBook does a sweet job of browsing the web there are some sites that are cluttered on the device or meant for huge 22 inch monitors. RIM seems to be joining the crowd with their own take on a Reader View in the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 Beta. This beta has a new feature once a page loads in the browser that lets you extract the main text and images from the page for easy viewing. It works better in portrait but hopefully RIM will fix it to take the whole screen in landscape mode.

All you need to do to enable the view is hit the new book like icon in BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 when the page loads.
