We know that native e-mail for the PlayBook is going to be shown at devcon with a possible roll out soon after. The BIS 4.1 update was schedule for sometime this weekend in some area and it looks like some already have it. Ben noticed the following on the BIS site: “BlackBerry Tablet setup is not supported from this website. Please use your tablet to access e-mail.”
RIM has been criticized because they have built most of their business around being able to do e-mail better than the competition and having a tablet from them without native e-mail did not help the PlayBook.
So this is some good signs that we will have e-mail on our PlayBooks soon. What do you think?
