Thrutu came out for BlackBerry during DevCon but I did not have a chance to play with it until now. The app tries to solve a simple problem of sharing information while you are on a call. For example, say you want to send somebody a contact or a picture while on the phone. Or simply give them your location when you are not sure where you are. That is where Thrutu comes in.

The “prod” sort of creeps me out but I can see a use for the app especially since it is available on Android and iOS for cross platform uses. On the other hand I usually simply send the same information over email so this really just simplifies it a tad. You can check out Thrutu at thrutu.com or simply pick it up free in App World.
