Now, thanks to miShuffle for Facebook, I will never be at a loss for something to say on my Facebook page. The folks over at loopSpin Inc have given us a status shuffle application for our BlackBerry devices with a simple, easy to use UI and small footprint (115.9 KB). With miShuffle, you simply select one of the categories listed and choose your status. miShuffle for Facebook: Update your status with a clever saying right from your BlackBerry device
From the Forums: Dutch police equipping with BlackBerry, member installs PlayBook in VW Polo
It's only Tuesday and this week has started off with some excitement. We have Kevin in Waterloo getting the inside scoop at RIM and he attended the AGM earlier today which he managed to live blog as well. I know the front page is extra interesting this week, but have you checked out the forums yet today? If not, now's as good a time as any, so get to it!
Found an interesting article you want to share with CrackBerry Nation? Have a burning question about that feature you just can't figure out? There is ALWAYS more happening just a click away in the forums. You can always head over and join in the conversation, search for answers, or
lend your expertise to other members of our community. If you aren't already, take a moment to get registered in the CrackBerry forums today!
Highlights of RIM’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders (Good Stuff!)
Usually the RIM annual meeting of shareholders is a relatively boring affair but this year it has been getting quite a bit more attention. There was enough hype to even convince Kevin from CrackBerry to over there and live blog the event. I got a chance to listen to the webcast while I was eating dinner and there are some great tidbits there. Here are the notes I took:
Let me know if I missed anything! Derek also pointed out that Bla1ze managed to record a great shareholder who blasted RIM on not marketing and selling correctly but then made fun of the analysts bashing RIM while typing out their comments on a BlackBerry. All in all RIM managed to deflect most criticism and come out ahead with this meeting. Kudos to them! Now just hurry up and get a 9900 in my hand!

CrackBerry Asks: What features are most important in your BlackBerry smartphone?
Each of us use our BlackBerry devices for different purposes. Some because it is a work device, others because it's the easiest way to keep in touch on the go with family and friends, and a few simply because of the overly awesome keyboard on the device. While we all have our own reasons for using the devices, we wonder which of the features do you find to be most important on your day to day use? We know that there has been quite some negativity towards RIM and BlackBerry users lately, but most of you are still holding loyal to the device, so let us know what is most important about it to you? Is it that stunning keyboard, the ability to change themes on the fly, the simplicity of keeping in touch, or the secure messaging allowing it to double as a work device as well? Cast your vote in the poll above (you can choose more than one option) then leave a comment with your thoughts.
Rumor: BlackBerry PlayBook OS 1.0.7 Coming This Friday?
The latest coming out of the rumor mill has the BlackBerry PlayBook getting a new OS update on July 15th. NerdBerryreceived confirmation from one of their sources that the PlayBook will be getting OS 1.0.7 on Friday July 15th. This is not the native email and PIM packing OS update some are hoping for but supposedly that has been pushed back until “Later this year” from a previous “late summer” release. Who knows what that means.
Either way the new v1.0.7 is supposed to be an incremental update adding:
• Enhanced demo mode
• Demo modes rebuilds the OS
• More to come
I am all for OS updates but I am waiting for some serious new feature builds! Everybody ready to start mashing that “Check for Updates” button?

FileScout Updated With BlackBerry Messenger Social Platform Integration
Now that BBM Social Platform is coming out of Beta we are seeing more and more apps implement it. I am waiting for games to use it but for now apps like the venerable FileScout are adding support. You could always send multiple files using FileScout but now you can also send the files over BBM. Right now you can only send files one at a time this way but hopefully that will change with future BBM SDK builds.
Here is the change log:
You can pick up the new version of FileScout in App World for $4.99 with a 30 day free trial
