With Mike Kirkup leaving RIM as Director of Developer Relations there was a void RIM needed to fill. That void seems to have been filled by Alec Saunders, RIM’s new VP of Developer Relations and Ecosystem Development. Alec took some time to talk to the official BlackBerry Developer Blog about what he sees for the future of RIM’s BlackBerry OS on QNX and BlackBerry 7. His mandate is to drive growth for RIM’s BlackBerry OS QNX powered BlackBerry platforms which is exactly what we want to hear.
I am loving the fact that Alec Saunders is prolifically involved online and you can find out quite a bit by Google-ing his name.
