Easily Sideload Android APK Apps to PlayBook with DDPb Installer

One of our long time forum contributors, Keeper, has released an updated version of his DDPb Installer app this weekend. This new version simplifies the process of sideloading Android APK installer files onto the BlackBerry PlayBook to use with the leaked Android App Player. This is still not the simplest of processes but it works like a charm and just points out how much easier RIM needs to make the process outside of App World.

Leaked Documentation Shows New Sprint Release Dates for 9930 9850 & 9350

We know practically everything we want to know about the upcoming device portfolio from RIM except for one thing: Release dates. We have some more insight into Sprint’s release dates for some of these upcoming devices thanks to BriefMobile (spotted by CrackBerry) that show the BlackBerry Bold 9930, BlackBerry Torch 9850, and BlackBerry Curve 9350 launching on August 21st. We have seen rumored release dates from Sprint in the past but hopefully these ones pan out.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 en Expansys España

Parece que la gente de Expansys ha actualizado su web y le ha puesto precio en su web a la esperada Bold 9900, y fecha de disponibilidad.

El precio: 579, 99 € IVA incluido (491,52 € sin IVA)

Y la fecha de disponibilidad: 16 de Agosto. 

Habremos de esperar fechas para los distintos operadores, pero si alguien quiere ser el primero habrá que pagar por ella.

BlackBerry IM Clients v2.5.88 Leaked for OS 6.0 Devices

 

The fun continues with marginally updated versions of the BlackBerry IM clients. The latest were extracted by rr_yy and bring us up to v2.5.88 for those of us with OS 6.0 devices. Nobody is really noticing anything crazy different in these builds but it may be worth a shot if you absolutely have to have the latest version. Keep in mind they might also simply FUBAR your device so don’t say you were not warned!

Parece que tendremos también otro terminal como la BlackBerry Bold 9900, es decir con teclado Qwerty y pantalla táctil, pero con el formato de tamaño de la serie 9700, así que RIM ha considerado que el tamaño importa  

Las especificaciones finales no se saben, el tiempo nos la dirá, así como su disponibilidad. Eso si vendrá con BlackBerry 7 de sistema operativo.
